Thanks to our neighbors, the Forest Hill Community might have a thief/imposter pretending to sell bad home-security systems.
The man was said to be Caucasian and wearing an orange vest. He was selling Vivans (spelling might be wrong, but at least you have a broad idea), and using the tactic of telling women that thieves have the ability to cut phone wires to disable a security system.
When the neighbors researched these so-called Vivans, they realized that it had a D rating, more than 1400 complaints, and pending government action against it.
The Cleveland Heights Police were notified, and have the man on their radar the next time they see him. If this man comes to your home, call the CHP. Better be safe than sorry. Stay safe Forest Hill!
